Athletes from 23 different regions are scheduled to attend the nationwide dance competitions set to take place in Yakutsk.
The city of Yakutsk, Russia, will play host to the first-ever Yakutia-wide dance sport competitions from September 26 to 28. The events will take place at the "Triumph" sports complex located at 26 Oyunsky Street.
The competitions will be held according to the rules of the All-Russian Federation of Dance Sport, Breaking, and Acrobatic Rock-n-Roll (FTSARR). The FTSARR executive director, Vadim Yevgenyevich Permyakov, will continue to lead the organizing committee for the event.
The Yakutia Dance Sport Union, an active participant in the organization of the competitions, has expressed confidence that hosting these events will contribute to the further development of dance sport in Yakutia. Lena Ivanova, executive director of the Yakutia Dance Sport Union, looks forward to welcoming everyone to the competitions.
A total of 113 unique pairs from different regions of the Russian Federation have registered to participate in the competitions. Four representatives from Yakutia will serve as judges, having successfully passed the 2022 qualification exam of the FTSARR.
The detailed schedule for the competitions will be available on the website after September 18. Competitions in all age categories will be scheduled from 9:00 to 21:00. Both parents and children will have the opportunity to attend the competitions and see the possibilities of participating in dance sport.

For those who are interested in attending, the FTSARR rules include specific requirements for stage setup, lighting, music, athlete attire, and other aspects to ensure a professional and enjoyable event for all participants and spectators.
