Athletes declared victorious in the country's expansive multi-sport event

In the heart of Yakutsk, the republic's most anticipated multi-discipline tournament, the "Bergé Games," has recently drawn to a close. This year marked a record-breaking participation, inaugurating six new champions. With the Yakutsk Dairy Plant initiating the competition, each victor and medalist received well-deserved recognition.

The youngest competitors of 2013-2014, led by Radomir Zhirkov, showcased an impressive display of talent. Despite finishing second in long jump and Yakutsk vertika, and fourth in running, Zhirkov's total points secured his victory amidst 39 rivals.

The junior age group of 2011-2012 witnessed Egor Mostnikov from the "Bootur" sports club snatch the top spot among 40 contestants.

Arylan Ivanov, representing Kobyaysky, earned the title for the 2009-2010 age group. His accolades included first place in long jump, Yakutsk vertika, and khapsagay, along with sixth place in mass-wrestling and fourth in running.

Juniors born between 2007-2008 had a double incentive: claiming medals and qualifying for the final stage of Bergé Games at the Ysyakh Tuymaada festival. Out of eight finalists, Saïd Dmitriyev (Megino-Kangalassky district) emerged victorious, Dmitriy Fedorov (Namsky district) took the second place, and Saian Makarov (Yakutsk) secured a bronze medal.

Other qualifiers for the final, scheduled for June 28, include Daniil Sleptsov, Vladimir Ksenofontov, Gennadiy Pak, Gennadiy Vasilyev (all from Megino-Kangalassky district), and Daniil Gulyaev (Kobyaysky district). The winner will proudly ride away on a motorcycle as a reward.

The girls' category featured victories for Lyuda Potolina (Yakutsk - 2013-2014), Lada Kotloyarova (Yakutsk - 2011-2012), Ariana Timofeeva (Hangalassky district - 2009-2010), and Saiana Egorova (Ust-Al-dansky district - 2007-2008).
