In the heart of Krasnodar, a press conference was held to mark the jubilee season for one of Russia's most titled volleyball clubs, Dinamo. The event was graced by various dignitaries and representatives, including Serafim Timchenko, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Krasnodar Territory, and the AVA Group, the club's long-standing general sponsor.

The occasion was also used to introduce new additions to the team. Yaroslava Simonenko was presented as the new captain, while Natalia Slautina, Tatiana Ezhak, and Anastasia Zhukova were introduced as the latest recruits.

As part of the celebrations, Dinamo unveiled a new historical logo. The main elements of the logo are the number "80" and a volleyball, symbolising the club's rich history and its continued commitment to the sport. The athletes were also presented with their game uniforms bearing the new logo at the event.

Dinamo, founded in 1946, is not only one of the oldest but also one of the most successful volleyball clubs in Russia. The club reached the final of the sixes Cup of Russia in the previous season, a testament to its enduring strength.

Support for Dinamo is seen as an investment in the development of Kuban sports, stability, and employee motivation, according to Vagan Arakelyan. The club's successes on the court are believed to have a positive impact on the region's sports culture and the morale of its residents.

As Dinamo prepares to celebrate its 80th anniversary in the 2026 season, the coaching staff and athletes have set their sights on achieving new exciting victories. The club aims to improve upon its achievements and continue its legacy of success in the main league of Russian volleyball, where it has been a mainstay for the past 38 seasons.

The upcoming season of the Women's Volleyball Super League promises to be an exciting one, with new strong players joining the ranks of Dinamo. The club is determined to make the most of this opportunity and continue its tradition of excellence in Russian volleyball.
