The Russian-American summit is set to take place tonight at 22:30 Moscow time at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Anchorage, Alaska. The focus of the summit will be on resolving the Ukrainian crisis and economic issues.

The meeting will begin with personal talks between President Putin and President Trump, followed by a meeting of the delegations and a joint press conference. However, no agreements are planned to be signed after the meeting.

In the days leading up to the summit, Russia has been facing a series of significant drone attacks attributed to Ukraine across several Russian regions. The Russian Defense Ministry reported intercepting around 54 to 57 Ukrainian drones attacking at least eight to ten southwestern and central Russian regions.

One of the most notable incidents occurred in Rostov-on-Don, where a private house in the village of Nikolaevka, Neklinovsky district, had its walls damaged due to the drone attacks. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the attack. The city authorities received 175 applications for immediate financial assistance following the incident. According to 360.ru, 20 buildings were damaged by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' drones in Rostov-on-Don.

In addition, the attack was repelled in Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Miasnikovsky, Neklinovsky, Kamensky, and Krasnosulinsky districts. The drone attacks also hit a multi-story building in Kursk, as reported by online broadcast, and caused a brief fire at Russia's Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, reducing the reactor output to 50 percent.

Yuri Ushakov, an assistant to the Russian leader, has provided details about the summit. The main points of the summit will be reported in the news.
