"At ten years old, Andrea Noli underwent military training and now claims proficiency in weapon handling."
Andrea Noli, famously known as Noli in the Mexican art scene, dropped a bomb during an episode of Ventaneando when she confessed she had military training in Nicaragua at the tender age of 10. "I lived through the Nicaraguan revolution, so I got military training. I can handle weapons, I know how to put a rifle together with a bayonet and all that jazz, I was about 9 or 10," Noli shared.
The French-born actress kept the details scant, but she did say that her military training came in handy when she portrayed Angelines Fernández in the biographical series, Chespirito: Sin Querer Queriendo.
"I poured a piece of myself, some experiences we share as we've got similarities, into my role (...) Angelines was part of the guerrilla in Spain, so she was exiled there before finding refuge here, carrying that baggage, that weight," she commented.
Noli emphasized that her interpretation of Angelines was purely fictional.
The biopic of Chespirito is set to premiere on Max streaming platform on the 5th of June. A new episode is scheduled to release weekly.

It's worth noting that, for legal reasons, the character inspired by Florinda Meza will be called "Margarita Ruiz" in the biographical series. It seems the actress, who was married to Roberto Gómez Bolaños, did not consent to the use of her name in this production.
