AT&T Lily Employs Breasts as Offensive Tools, Danica Patrick Relaxes with Wine near the Poolside, and WNBA Players Spark Conversations
Rewritten Article:
Sweet weekend ahead! Guess who's back from April's sneaky entrance, accompanied by the NBA playoffs, the Kentucky Derby, and Cinco de Mayo on a funky Monday – yep, you've guessed it, it's the weekend we all love!
But for me, I'm more about the dad life with two kiddos in tow, plus a significant other's "market" (aka art show) at a brewery – could be worse, I suppose!
Welcome to this Friday's Nightcaps, where AT&T Lily took center stage, settling the gun debate with some dramatic... uh, boobs. We love props around here!
Moving on, let's catch up on the best of the week's content, reader mail from yesterday's Cracker Barrel chat, WNBA gals gearing up for an action-packed first season, and the worst Alabama tailgate ever. Now, that's hard to mess up Tuscaloosa, but the Libs somehow managed it!
Here's to a margarita-filled weekend for Cinco de Mayo – I'm sticking with a Modelo, naturally – so let's dive into this Friday Nightcap!
A Divided Cracker Barrel
Two days in a row starting off with Cracker Barrel talk? You're really hitting the jackpot here, folks – this ain't something you'll find on CNN!
Yesterday, I asked you all for a quick "vibe-check" of your local Cracker Barrels, following our discovery of nationwide pilot remodels. The distressed "store of love" is embracing modern updates – from tables to lighting – but opinions are split, and food might just be the biggest sticking point.
Let's check out some reader feedback:
From Nick G:
Wasn't impressed. My best friend and I used to love our Cracker Barrel meals, any time of the day, with great service and reasonable prices. But the last time we went this past week, we spent almost $50 on dinner and waited 35 minutes for our food on a weekday night. Not cool.
On a more positive note, Scott F. in Daytona shared their experience:
We hit the Daytona location on a Tuesday night, and it still looked the same. I had the country fried pork chops with hashbrown casserole and corn as sides – way better than I expected!
Finally, Alex in N.C. had a more critical perspective:
I'm not buying what you're selling. The rockers are still on the porch, and the lobby is still unfathomable. Putting on some paint and updating the furniture doesn't change much. Food is still the most important part of this dining experience, so if it's still tasty, then the rest isn't such a big deal.
Content Overload!
From Trump's meandering commencement speech to Danica by the pool with a glass of Danica Patrick wine (yes, please!), and the iconic AIM door noise, we had a loaded week packed with entertainment.
Welcome back to class, Brylie St. Clair! Almost softball season! And let's not forget that it's nearly WNBA season, with Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull, and Caitlin Clark all set to make a splash!
Sophie and Lexie are set to dominate, on and off the court, while Caitlin Clark, with her new "woke" physique, is ready to shake up the competition! Get your tickets for the Fever's preseason game in Iowa this weekend – they're reasonable!
Let's take a look at the 'Bama Libs who protested Donald Trump's speech last night. Their pathetic protests were nothing short of painful, both visually and audibly. We just can't with this crew anymore – but, hey, it's great for us!
That's all for today – and this week! Remember to stay vigilant and hold these folks accountable. We can't afford to lose Cracker Barrel on our watch!
See you all on Monday.
