"Astudent from Dagestanvanished during warfare, following asigning of a blood pact."

In January 2025, Said Murtazaliev, an 18-year-old student from Dagestan, was unexpectedly detained by police in Moscow. His family was not immediately informed about his detention, and since March 8, he has been officially listed as missing.

According to reports, Said was forcibly conscripted and sent to fight in the Luhansk region, Ukraine, as part of Russia's 272nd Assault Battalion of the 1st Guards Tank Army. During his detention, he was allegedly tortured, including being drenched in cold water, made to wear a gas mask, and beaten.

An investigator at the OVD of the city of Shatura, 36-year-old Nadya Zabelkina, is believed to be involved in Said Murtazaliev's "recruitment". However, no detailed or verified information about her role has been found in the search results.

Said was assigned to a storming company of a motorized rifle battalion in the 272nd motorized rifle regiment of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Moscow Military District. On March 7, he sent a video to his mother asking her to spread it online, in which he mentioned that money was collected to prevent his comrades from going to the storm. More than one million rubles were paid for Said Murtazaliev's life, with 650,000 rubles coming from his "salary".

Officers with call signs "Altai" and "Kilo" gave an order to their subordinate with the call sign "Spartak" to "zero out Murtazaliev". This order led to Said being accused of fraud and abuse of trust (article 159, part 1).

Mikhail Prasolov, a Senior Lieutenant with the call sign "Altai", is one of the commanders involved in extortion and "resets" and is currently under investigation but remains at large. He was awarded the medal "For Courage" but the specific deed for which he was awarded was not disclosed.

Reports also suggest that Russian law enforcement officers, military enlistment offices, and officers of the Russian Armed Forces are forcing migrants, conscripts, prisoners, and now schoolchildren to sign contracts.

As the investigation continues, more details about this sensitive incident may come to light. The public awaits updates on Said Murtazaliev's whereabouts and the ongoing investigation into the allegations of forced conscription, torture, and extortion.

Politics and general-news outlets have been covering the ongoing investigation into the forced conscription of 18-year-old Said Murtazaliev, who was reportedly sent to fight in Ukraine as part of Russia's military. Crime-and-justice reports also detail allegations of torture and extortion involving Russian military commanders and law enforcement officers, with the case gaining public attention and calls for accountability.
