In a disturbing turn of events, an incident of xenophobic abuse was reported against three 12-year-old children in the Neu-Hohenschoenhausen neighbourhood. According to the reports, an unknown woman allegedly approached one of the girls in the entrance hall of a multi-family house and grabbed her by the arms. The woman, described as being approximately 40 years old, was wearing a light-colored jacket and dark trousers at the time.

The girl was shaken violently, causing her to hit her head against the wall several times. Fortunately, an unknown person intervened, causing the woman to let go of the girl and flee in an unknown direction. This brave individual was described as a man and was wearing a dark coat.

The local community in Neu-Hohenschoenhausen has shown its support for the victims, organising a vigil to stand against xenophobia. The State Criminal Police Office has also released a statement condemning the incident and expressing support for the victims.

The State Protection Police of the State Criminal Police Office has taken over the further investigation, seeking witnesses to the incident for further investigation. Emergency services treated the injured girl at the scene.
