Wallis joined Linda Jones at the Imperial Kennels in 1990 and became the assistant trainer before taking over the licence in 2005. He has enjoyed huge success at the Lakenheath base and currently sits on 112 Category One titles as a kennel.
Wallis is hopeful but not confident of winning the Ladbrokes Summer Stayers Classic. Despite his optimism, the race promises to be a fierce competition with early pace and a short run to the corner.
