The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President, Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, is confident that Asia's four representatives will leave a lasting impression on the global stage.

Some of the Continent's heavy hitters - Al Ain FC from the United Arab Emirates, Al Hilal SFC from Saudi Arabia, Ulsan HD from South Korea, and Urawa Red Diamonds from Japan, will lock horns in this epic tournament. Prepare for an action-packed 63-match marathon that will unfold across 12 venues in 11 host cities across the United States, wrapping up at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 13th July.

The AFC's representatives have proved their mettle on the global stage. Just take a look at Al Hilal (2022), Al Ain (2018), and Kashima Antlers (2016) - they've each snagged the runner-up medal on three occasions, demonstrating Asia's prowess in this prestigious competition.

The AFC Champions League 2022 winners, Urawa Red Diamonds, will commence Asia's crusade in Group E, going toe-to-toe with Argentina's CA River Plate on 17th June at the Lumen Field in Seattle.
