Artists' Collective Collaborates with Amex's Unsigned at All Points East's Local Festival
Featured Artists Coalition and Amex Unsigned Team Up for Grassroots Music Support at All Points East's In The Neighbourhood
From August 17 to 20, the Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) and Amex Unsigned will join forces for a special event at London's Victoria Park during the All Points East festival. This partnership aims to support and promote UK grassroots music, providing opportunities for emerging artists and fostering a fair and transparent music industry.
The collaboration is significant, as it recognises the crucial role grassroots shows play in nurturing artists' careers and preparing them for festival stages. It also aligns with FAC's recent initiatives to bolster artists' touring and live performance costs, enhancing financial sustainability for musicians.
On Wednesday, 20 August 2025, the FAC will host a takeover of the Amex Unsigned stage. Highlights include a panel discussion titled "Showcasing the importance of grassroots music in & around the community," moderated by FAC board director Roxanne de Bastion. Panelists include Dave Edwards (VP of Demand Generation, American Express), artist Kelli-Leigh, Amex Unsigned artist and FAC Artist Council member Nia Wyn, and Chloe Pean, Promoter at AEG Presents.
Live performances by Amex Unsigned artists, including Nia Wyn, Kianja, Ben Kidson, and a special guest closing act, will follow the panel discussion. The event will conclude with a mixer for networking and community building among artists and attendees.
All Points East returns to Victoria Park with headliners Cleo Sol (Friday, August 15), Chase & Status (Saturday, August 16), Barry Can't Swim (Friday, August 22), Raye (Saturday, August 24) and The Maccabees (Sunday, August 24). In The Neighbourhood, a free-entry festival running midweek during All Points East, is also supported by Tower Hamlets Council.
Earlier this year, the FAC announced a UK Artists Touring Fund, with the aim of distributing revenue collected from a ticket levy on 5,000-plus capacity music events, and ensuring artists are provided with greater support to underwrite the increasing costs of live shows.
Dave Edwards, VP of Demand Generation at American Express, expressed excitement about the partnership between Amex Unsigned and the FAC, stating, "We're thrilled to be partnering with the Featured Artists Coalition to support UK grassroots music and help emerging artists grow and thrive."
This partnership and set of events underscore the vital role grassroots music plays and seek to create meaningful platforms and support systems for emerging UK artists.
