On September 19, 2025, Irish alt-rock trio NewDad released their second album, "Altar," under Warner Music. The album is a tribute to their hometown, Galway, and showcases the band's unique sound.

The first single from the album, "Roobosh," was released in July. It's a punchy and angst-driven track that sets the tone for the new era of NewDad's sound. The one-shot video for "Roobosh" was created by the creative duo Peter Eason Daniels and Rory Mullen, and it's distributed by Warner Music.

Another notable song on "Altar" is "Pretty." This tender, introspective track is a love letter to Galway, expressing homesickness and admiration for the city. It contrasts with the punchier lead single "Roobosh" and features shimmering guitars with delicate melodies.

The creative duo, Peter Eason Daniels and Rory Mullen, have worked on both the video for "Roobosh" and the visuals for the entire album, "Altar." Their work is also distributed by Warner Music.

NewDad recently unveiled "Pretty" as the next teaser from their second album. The band held an exclusive album signing and in-store performance at their hometown on September 21, 2025, to celebrate the release.

"Altar" was partly written during sessions in Galway, emphasizing both dreamy and grounded musical elements, weaving intimacy with wide sonic scope. The album's release marks a significant milestone for the band, showcasing their growth and commitment to their roots.
