Art the Clown, character from the movie Terrifier, appears to have allegedly murdered WWE wrestler Rhea Ripley during a performance by Ice Nine Kills last weekend, according to reports.
In a thrilling turn of events, WWE wrestler Rhea Ripley made a guest appearance during Ice Nine Kills' set at the Silver Scream Con horror convention on September 13, 2022, held in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The appearance saw a dramatic clash between Ripley and Art The Clown, the terrifying character from the Terrifier series, played by David Howard Thornton. During the performance of Ice Nine Kills' final song, "A Work Of Art," Art slashed a Labubu plush toy at Ripley's neck with a knife, prompting her to attempt to take the toy back. However, Art hit her on the back of her neck to knock her down.
Despite the dramatic incident, Ripley expressed her happiness about the experience on X (formerly Twitter). She is a vocal fan of the Terrifier franchise and has expressed interest in a role in Terrifier 4.
The Silver Scream Con promises "two days of music, horror, gore, and more," and it seems that the event lived up to its promise. Spencer Charnas, frontman of Ice Nine Kills, stated that the Silver Scream Con allows fans to interact with the band and meet stars of the films that their music pays tribute to.
Ice Nine Kills released their latest album, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood, in 2021. The music video for "A Work Of Art" features David Howard Thornton as Art.
In addition to their performance at the Silver Scream Con, Ice Nine Kills will embark on a European tour in November, with a final show at Wembley Arena in London on December 12, 2025. This will be part of their first UK arena headline tour, with support from Creeper and The Devil Wears Prada.
Before their European tour, Ice Nine Kills will play at the Morgue And Krypt Horror Fest in Albuquerque and When We Were Young in Las Vegas. The Silver Scream Con is set to take place at the Cumberland Hotel in London on December 13 and 14, promising another exciting event for horror and music fans alike.
