Art Installation Debuts at Hoa Lo Prison: "Song of Peace" Unveiled
Here's a fresh, informal spin on the "Song of Peace" exhibition at Hoa Lo Prison Relic in Hanoi:
💣🏛️ The Song of Peace rolls in Hanoi, paying homage to our heroes 💣🏛️
Y'all got a taste of history right here at the Hoa Lo Prison Relic, as they launch this soul-stirring exhibition called Song of Peace. It's all part of the celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. 🇻🇳🎈
The exhibition's divided into three sections:
- All Aboard, Soldiers!: This part captures the raw enthusiasm of Northern youth eager to join the army for our revolution. They were all about uniting our country, and movements like Ba Sẵn Sàng (Three Ready) and Ba Đảm Đang (Three Responsibilities) show just how badly they wanted in. 🌟
- The Road to Unity: This section's a rollercoaster ride, recounting the resilience and brave heart of our soldiers and people. It takes you through the journey from the '68 Tết Offensive to the '72 Điện Biên Phủ in the Air victory – the major milestones in our fight for liberation. 🏁
- Peaceful Times Ahead: This finale's a feel-good vibe, celebrating the joy as our country finally unified and found peace. 🎉🎊

💔 The Price of Peace:A special highlight? The heartwrenching re-enactment of the Bố Trạch cave incident in '72. Eight passionate volunteers, young and brave, lost their lives after the bombing from American forces. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but these amateur actors sure did an incredible job bringing their story to life. 🙏
Cao Thị Hạnh Kiểm, former Chairwoman of the Thanh Xuân District's Association of Former Youth Volunteers, said the exhibition transported her back to the painful memories of the war.
"We endured the hardship of the Trường Sơn Trail, losing our brothers and sisters," she said. "The images at the Song of Peace exhibition evoked memories of Trường Sơn and brought tears to my eyes." 🌹
📅 When and Where:Catch this powerful tribute to our past at Hoa Lo Prison Relic, 1 Hoa Lo St., Trần Hưng Đạo Ward, Hoãn Kiếm District, Hanoi, until the end of May. Don't miss it! 🎟️
