Art Exhibition: Õllesummer Showcases Iconic Group The Jacksons from the USA
The Jacksons, the iconic U.S. band known for their string of hits in the 1970s and early '80s, performed at the Õllesummer Festival on Saturday, July 31, 2025. The festival, held at the Talinn Song Festival Grounds, featured multiple stages and close to a hundred artists, creating a diverse and packed lineup over the four days from July 30 to August 2.
The Jacksons, originally known as the Jackson 5, have sold over 150 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling acts of all time. Their discography includes timeless classics like "Want You Back," "ABC," and "The Love You Save."
While Michael Jackson, one of the siblings, left the group in 1983 to pursue a solo career, Jackie and Marlon Jackson currently make up the core of the group. They were joined at the festival by other acts such as Londonbeat (U.K.), Robert Davi (U.S.), and DJ Sash! (Germany).
Local acts Noep and Kristina Pärtelpoeg & Mallukas also performed at the festival on Saturday. Notable Estonian acts like Tommy Cash, Villemdrillem, Vanilla Ninja, Max Barskih, 5Miinust, Teravmoon, Horror Dance Squad, DND, and Agatino Romero graced the stages as well.
Sadly, another brother, Tito Jackson, passed away in September. Despite this loss, the Jacksons delivered a powerful performance that echoed their legendary status in the music industry.
