The North Rhine-Westphalia state government isn't new to this character: in 2010, the Regional Court in Krefeld sentenced him to four and a half years in prison for charges including dangerous bodily harm, attempted rape, and disturbing public peace through threats. However, he served his time and didn't undergo the usual probation period.
