Arsenal's Coming Season Might See a Return of Cesc Fabregas, Impressive Managerial Debut Suggests

Cesc Fabregas' Future Remains Committed to Como FC

Cesc Fàbregas, the 38-year-old former midfield maestro, is currently making a promising start to his managerial career at Como FC in Serie A. After retiring in 2023, Fabregas took over as the head coach of Como and has been actively strengthening the team.

Fabregas led Como to a 10th-place finish in their first season back in Serie A in 2024–25, and he holds a contract extending to June 2028. He is also involved in recruitment efforts, including reportedly pushing hard to sign Álvaro Morata, a fellow Spaniard and former teammate.

Fabregas' ambitions for the club have made headlines, with light speculation about Lionel Messi potentially joining Como someday. However, the club president has dismissed this as very unlikely.

Despite the speculation about his future in European football, there is no verified information or credible speculation from reputable sports media sources to suggest Fabregas is on a path towards managing Arsenal, his former club. Fabregas seems focused on building his credentials at Como.

Jeremie Aliadiere, a former teammate of Fabregas at Arsenal, believes Fabregas' success as a manager was always inevitable. Aliadiere expressed his hope for Fabregas to become the Arsenal manager one day, stating that opportunities for former players to manage their old clubs come at different times.

However, it's worth noting that Patrick Vieira was previously linked with the Arsenal manager position but did not get the opportunity. For now, Fabregas' future appears committed to Como FC, focusing on growing the club in Serie A with notable player signings.
