To reach the Heinz von Heiden Arena, fans are advised to switch to ÜSTRA city trains at the main station.

Lines 3, 7 (direction Wettbergen) and 9 (direction Empelde) run in the basement to the stop Waterloo. From Waterloo, it's a short walk via Schützenplatz to the north side of the Heinz von Heiden Arena. Alternatively, Lines S1, S2, or S5 depart from platform 1 to the stadium-near station Hannover Linden/Fischerhof. From there, the stadium is within a short walking distance.

Fans from Cologne are expected to access the Heinz von Heiden Arena primarily via the south side. Those travelling by train from Cologne are advised to switch to the S-Bahn at Hannover's main station.
