Arrest Warrants Carried Out for Individual in BPOLI Over Allegations of Computer Fraud, Threats, and Insults in the Community
In a series of events unfolding over two years, a German national found himself in the custody of the Federal Police in Halle (Saale) on September 1, 2025. The individual, whose identity remains undisclosed, was arrested at the Central Station at 12:03 PM.
The arrest was prompted by two active arrest warrants issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office Halle - Branch Naumburg. The first warrant, issued in March 2025, was due to the individual's failure to serve his sentence for a computer fraud conviction handed down by the Local Court of Zeitz in January 2023. The court sentenced him to seven months' imprisonment for eight cases of joint computer fraud. The individual neither paid the imposed fine nor served his sentence.
A second arrest warrant followed four months later, based on his final conviction by the Local Court of Zeitz for threats in conjunction with insults. This conviction carried a fine of 750 euros or an initial 50 days' imprisonment, which the individual also failed to comply with.
Upon arrest, the Federal Police took the individual to the Federal Police Station at Halle (Saale) Central Station and subsequently transferred him to a detention facility to serve his seven-month imprisonment and 25 days' alternative imprisonment.
