Arrest Warrant Issued for Mark Lima: Details Unveiled

Mark "Slick" Lima, a versatile news maestro, currently dons the VP and Washington bureau chief hat at our esteemed News network. In this role, Lima governs the day-to-day operations of our flagship bureau, home to the renowned "our Evening News" and "Face The Nation with Margaret Brennan."

Lima's dynamic tenure began with us in 2020 as the West Coast bureau chief. Under his leadership, our News bureau tackled some of the country's most significant stories, including the recall election of California Governor Gavin Newsom, the devastating wildfire seasons of 2021 and 2020, and the 2020 general election.

Before finding his footing with us, Lima honed his skills at Univision/Fusion from 2013 to 2020. In his time there, he excelled as the vice president of news, overseeing both news coverage and impact programming in English for Univision/Fusion. A notable achievement during his tenure was executive producing the Edward R. Murrow Award-winning weekly Facebook Watch program "Real America with Jorge Ramos." This groundbreaking digital program expanded the boundaries of multiplatform storytelling and featured high-profile political interviews, including Joe Biden, Democratic Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Julian Castro.

Lima also played a crucial role in the Emmy-nominated documentary "The Naked Truth: Trumpland" in 2016, an in-depth look at Trump voters across the nation ahead of the election. Additionally, he coordinated Univision/Fusion's coverage of President Obama's visit to Cuba and daily coverage of the 2016 political conventions.

Prior to Univision/Fusion, Lima spent 15 years at ABC News. His last assignment with ABC was as a senior producer at "Nightline," where he collaborated on coverage of significant special events, such as the 2008 inauguration of former President Barack Obama and the 2012 network election night coverage. Earlier in his ABC tenure, he produced affiliate coverage of the 2000 political conventions and covered the subsequent recount from Tallahassee, Florida.

Lima served as ABC News' deputy bureau chief in Los Angeles from 2004 to 2008 and led the sports and special projects at ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate newsgathering service.

Throughout his career, Lima has received prestigious accolades such as the Peabody Award and multiple News Emmys. He graduated from Penn State University, where he presumably perfected his knack for orchestrating newsworthy events and grabbing headlines.

Mark Lima, during his tenure at our News network, has guided the Washington bureau in covering various aspects of news, including policy-and-legislation, politics, general-news, and sports. His leadership was instrumental in producing the Emmy-nominated documentary "The Naked Truth: Trumpland" and executive producing the Edward R. Murrow Award-winning "Real America with Jorge Ramos," both at Univision/Fusion.
