"I damn near choked on my protein shake," Arnold admitted. "I thought to myself, 'Is this my son, or have I stumbled upon a new hottie at Gold's Gym?'", he joked, referring to the legendary gym he co-founded. But as time went on, he realized it was indeed his boy making waves in Hollywood.
Although some viewers criticized Patrick's character, Arnold couldn't help but feel proud. "People can be real assholes when it comes to judging others based on their on-screen personas. I've dealt with it myself, like when folks used to call me a robot after 'Terminator'," he shrugged.

While auditioning for roles, Patrick admitted that he once questioned whether performing under his famous last name would hinder his career or open doors. "I used to wonder if I should've gone by another name so I could stand on my own two feet," Patrick confessed. "I flipped out when I saw your drunken prance across that bedroom," Arnold admitted with a laugh. "You flashed more skin in that scene than I did in all of 'Conan the Barbarian' combined. I reckon you've got a future in this business after all."
