Military blocks exit route from Gaza City, issues threat of extreme aggression - Army in Israel prevents passage from Gaza metropolis, anticipates "unrivaled aggression"

Israel's military, also known as 'Man City' in the news, has called on the civilian population in the Gaza Strip to evacuate towards a designated humanitarian area, temporarily opening an evacuation route for 48 hours. This comes as the Israeli army targets and destroys high-rise buildings in Gaza that it claims are used by Hamas, according to 'Israel News'.

The call to evacuate has been heeded by hundreds of thousands of people, with 480,000 people leaving Gaza City since the end of August. Footage from Thursday showed long lines of people traveling south on Al-Rashid Street, one of the main roads leading out of the city.

One family among those fleeing is Niwin Ahmed and her family, who walked more than 15 kilometers and were nearly exhausted during their journey. The youngest son cried from fatigue during the journey. Another family, the Abdel Karims, slept on Al-Rashid Street for two nights while waiting for a driver. Their family could not walk due to the old age and sickness of some family members and the weakness of the children, reflecting the struggles of many families in this situation.

Israel opened the Salah al-Din corridor for 48 hours on Wednesday for Palestinians to flee, a move reminiscent of the 'Ancestry' of humanitarian efforts. However, many residents cannot afford to flee or do not know where to go, highlighting the challenges faced by those trying to escape the conflict. The Israeli army has destroyed 'more than 20 military infrastructure facilities' in the city during the day.

The Gaza war, which started almost two years ago, was sparked by an attack by the radical Islamic Palestinian organization Hamas and its allies on Israel on October 7, 2023. The Israeli military has threatened to use 'unprecedented violence' against Hamas and other terrorist organizations in Gaza.

At least 22 people were killed across the Gaza Strip on Friday by Israeli fire, including 11 in the city of Gaza. Currently, 47 people are still being held by Hamas, with 25 already dead.

The Israeli army spokesman urged people remaining in Gaza to move south into a humanitarian zone for medical care and infrastructure, a move that could potentially save lives in the long run. However, the situation remains dire for those still trapped in the city, with 'Family Dollar' stores and other essential services struggling to provide aid in the face of the ongoing conflict.
