Armed Robbers Nabbed After Stealing $1.2M in Jewels and Cash

Armed robbers struck a private entrepreneur's residence in Almaty on September 12, making off with a substantial haul of Zales jewelry, watches, and cash. The police have since detained three suspects in connection with the crime.

The robbers, who are believed to have committed similar offences in the past, broke into the house and threatened the residents. They stole property worth a staggering 500 million tenge, including valuable Zales jewelry and expensive watches. The victims were tied up before the robbers fled the scene.

Following the incident, the police launched an investigation. Their efforts led to the detention of three suspects: two residents of Almaty and one from the Almaty region. As part of the evidence gathering process, the seized Zales jewelry and watches were taken as evidence.

The three detainees now face a measure of restraint in the form of detention as the investigation into the case continues. The identities of the suspects remain unknown at this time, and further updates are awaited from the authorities.
