Armed Forces launch night assault on Crimea, detailed by Ministry of Defense.

In the wee hours of May 3rd, a series of missile attacks targeted Crimea from Ukrainian soil, as per the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"All missiles were intercepted during the anti-missile defense. Unfortunately, there were civilian casualties and damages," the statement read. Particularly, reports indicate a fire in the village of Tselina, damage to non-residential buildings in Rostov, and houses in Anapa, Krasnodar region. Local governors made these reports following the interception of drones.

The ministry also shared that within 24 hours, they managed to destroy 23 unmanned boats of the Ukrainian military that attempted to attack coastal infrastructure targets on the peninsula.

The Storm Shadow is a British air-launched cruise missile, boasting a range of up to 550 km, and its French equivalent being the SCALP-EG. The Russian Ministry of Defense has frequently reported their destruction, with the Ukrainian military using such missiles to attack Bryansk Oblast as recently as January.

The Neptune-MD, a Ukrainian supersonic anti-ship cruise missile, has a range of up to 280-300 km and can reach speeds of up to 900 km/h. It can be launched from ships, aircraft, or land.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported intercepting 170 drones of the Ukrainian military in one night, including 96 over Crimea alone. By 5:00 AM, 14 Ukrainian unmanned boats had been destroyed in the Black Sea.
