Arkhangelsky & Efimov Triumph at III All-Russian Shooting Tournament

The III All-Russian Shooting Tournament on Long-Distance Targets, held in Yakutsk from 3 to 5 October, concluded with a triumphant victory for Leonid Arkhangelsky and Mikhail Efimov. The duo won the 'Day' stage, demonstrating remarkable skill and resilience despite challenging weather conditions.

The tournament, dedicated to the memory of legendary sniper and Hero of the Soviet Union F.M. Okhlopkov, attracted top shooters from across Russia. It was organized under the leadership of Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, and involved various stakeholders including the Ministry of Defense, the government of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), and the Russian Federation of Practical Shooting.

Arkhangelsky and Efimov had been preparing for this event all summer, intensifying their training in the last couple of weeks. Their hard work paid off as they hit the target at an impressive distance of 2000 meters, showcasing exceptional skill and composure despite strong gusty winds. The Head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, congratulated the winners and expressed pride in their achievement.

The III All-Russian Shooting Tournament on Long-Distance Targets, held in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, concluded successfully with Arkhangelsky and Efimov's outstanding performance. Their victory is a testament to their dedication, skill, and resilience.
