The Arizona Diamondbacks are gearing up to be big-time sellers before the MLB trade deadline, and third baseman Eugenio Suárez might just be their marquee asset.

Sports Insider's Nick Selbe has predicted that Suárez could be shipped off in a blockbuster deal with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees are also in hot pursuit.

Suárez has been tearing it up with the bat this season, leading the NL in RBIs and setting his sights on topping his previous career high of 49 home runs from the 2019 season. Add to that his recent 300th home run milestone, and you've got one heck of an enticing trade bait.

But the Diamondbacks' general manager Mike Hazen has shown reluctance to deal Suárez. Things might change quickly, though, as the team's top prospect Jordan Lawlar is waiting in the wings, and Suárez's contract is set to expire at season's end.

It seems like a foregone conclusion that Suárez will get traded. But with the Cubs and Yankees itching to get their hands on him, will the Brewers be able to outbid the competition?

Meanwhile, other teams like the Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, even their in-state rivals the Arizona Diamondarks (if they reconsider where he fits in their plans), and the Baltimore Orioles are also in the mix. Each of these teams could benefit from Suárez's power at the plate, making a trade a real possibility.

It's a seller's market out there, and Suárez is the premium product. Keep your eyes peeled, baseball fans, because this trade saga is just heating up!

The Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, and New York Yankees are three baseball teams actively pursuing Eugenio Suárez for a potential trade deal, with the Brewers being heavily predicted by Sports Insider's Nick Selbe. However, Suárez's contract expiring at season's end and the Arizona Diamondbacks' need to build around their rising star prospect Jordan Lawlar might increase the competition, as other teams like the Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Baltimore Orioles also show interest in the MLB news.
