In a 43-minute video, broadcast by Middle German Broadcasting on August 20, 2025 at 16:18 (TVMi), former Federal Minister of Transport, Andreas Scheuer, is being questioned about suspected false testimony.

The charges against Scheuer involve allegations of false testimony in a court of law, as per § 153 StGB. If there is a conviction, a prison sentence of three months to five years is possible, and a fine may also be imposed in less severe cases.

Legal expert Christoph Kehlbach, who provides analysis on Scheuer's case in the video, expects a trial for the former minister. He further anticipates a conviction if there is a trial. However, Kehlbach also expresses his expectation for a lenient sentence, should Scheuer be found guilty.
