On Duty for a Youth Center - ARD's Garbage Crew returns with two gripping new films in March

ARD Degeto's popular series The Three from the Garbage Crew returns with two new films this March. The 13th instalment, Hand in Hand, premieres on March 20 at 8:15 p.m., followed by Dirty Scam a week later. Both films explore social tensions and generational clashes, signature themes of the series.

In Hand in Hand, Captain Träsch and his team look into reports of waste issues at the Venceremos youth centre. Instead of rubbish, they stumble upon a violent confrontation. A group of attackers targets Jelena, a wheelchair user, before the Captain steps in to drive them off. His intervention leads to an assault charge, and he is later ordered to attend anti-aggression training.

Meanwhile, the Captain's daughter, Annika Träsch, digs deeper into the case. She uncovers a link between one assailant's father and the youth centre itself. The following week, *Dirty Scam* continues the story. Directed by Christiane Balthasar and written by Gernot Gricksch, the film maintains the series' focus on conflict and community struggles.

Both films air on ARD at 8:15 p.m., with Hand in Hand on March 20 and Dirty Scam on March 27. The episodes expand on the series' recurring themes while introducing new layers of tension. Viewers can expect further developments in the Captain's legal troubles and the youth centre's controversies.
