ARD is set to premiere a gripping two-part series, 'Charlotte Link - Lonely Night', on October 3 and 4 at 8:15 PM. The series, based on a book by Charlotte Link and starring Henny Reents as Detective Kate Linville, promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

The story kicks off with a brutal attack on a teenager, who falls into a coma. Years later, a participant in a cooking class meets a fatal end. Detective Linville is assigned to investigate, with a new boss, Pamela Graybourne, scrutinizing her every move. As Linville delves deeper, she uncovers a chilling connection: the caregiver of the elderly victim, Mila Henderson, is linked to both cases. The killer, revealed to be a teenager at the time of the first attack, narrates his monologues, offering eerie insights into his motivations and past. He confesses to killing his grandmother at age 13, describing it as 'a killing by omission'. The first part of the series ends with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers with unanswered questions.

Tune in to ARD on October 3 and 4 to follow Detective Linville's investigation into the deadly cooking class and the teenager's attack. With a new boss breathing down her neck and a killer with a twisted perspective on revenge, 'Charlotte Link - Lonely Night' promises an unforgettable viewing experience.
