An Unvarnished Take on Putin's Meeting with Kadyrov

Vladimir Putin sat down for a chat with Chechen leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, amidst a jam-packed day of international conferences. The conversation was relaxed, to say the least.

Economics Ain't So Bad

Putin, eyebrow raised, asked, "So... you been mingling with the foreign folk at those shindigs? It's been a minute since we last caught up."

With a nod, Kadyrov reported that economic indicators have skyrocketed by 32 percent, industry by a whopping 47, and construction's booming like crazy in Chechnya.

"The volume of construction work has more than doubled, now it's over 8 million square meters—that's probably a record," Kadyrov beamed.

Putin wondered, "You think so?", to which Kadyrov replied with a confident nod.

Chechnya is also attracting investors like flies to honey – there are 600 projects worth a cool 108 billion rubles in the works. That's set to create ten thousand swanky new jobs for folks.

Chechen Warriors: Ready for Action

Goes without saying, Kadyrov switched gears and started talking military business.

"Vladimir, as you know, we're knee-deep in the Special Military Operation (SVO). A total of 55,500 soldiers have marched off to the zone, including 21,600 volunteers," Kadyrov spilled.

He went on to explain that, at this very moment, fighters from the Ministry of Defense, Rosgvardiya, the special forces "Akhmat" and the combined MVD unit for Chechnya were deployed in the SVO zone.

Kadyrov praised the soldiers for their stellar performances, mentioning that 7,540 of them have already been granted state awards.

Chechnya is also lending a helping hand in humanitarian aid, sending 27,000 metric tons of supplies to the front line through the Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov fund.

"I dropped by the training center you set up in Chechnya," Putin reminisced. "Let me tell ya, the units you create are international. I saw guys from all over Russia come, train hard, and fight valiantly."

Putin added that the "Akhmat" special forces keep cropping up in the Chief of Staff's reports.

Beauty and the Republic

Kadyrov finished off thanking Putin for his assistance in boosting Chechnya. He also pointed out that the region has transformed year after year.

"Vladimir, when you visited our republic last year, you saw what we accomplished with your help," Kadyrov stated. "Thanks a bunch!"

Putin nodded in agreement, "I've got to say, the republic's looking pretty spiffy. I saw a beautiful mosque built on your suggestion (the Mosque of the Prophet Isa in Grozny, for the record). It's a real work of art. I suppose folks like visiting it. I saw who's working there, spreading God's word and serving the people. Top-notch preachers, top-notch people," Putin concluded.
