GRITTY GIST: It's spilled during a parliamentary powwow that roughly 135,000 folks from Pakistan have slaughtered for political asylum in the west in the past two years. This juicy news dropped during a Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistani's summit, chaired by the one and only, Zeeshan Khanzada.

The DG of passports, in all his glory, blurted that about 125,000 of these desperados found themselves knocking on Old Europe's door and over 10,000 in good ol' USA, seeking asylum. He didn't mince words in stating that some countries let these squatters waltz right in but send 'em packing back to Pakistan post-haste.

He also gabbed that 34,000 taxpayers were vacated from Iran in '22, and the passports of them, now banished, have been blacklisted, while deviants among them have been slapped with hefty penalties.

The DG joyously pointed out that over 10.3 million skilled workers, us-Pakistanis, have their hands on the global workforce's pulses.

Earlier on, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis' peeps confessed that Saudi Arabia has drastically cut the number of visas dished out to us and tightened eligibility criteria.

FIA, in a briefing to the committee, dropped a knowledge bomb that more than 52,000 of us have been evicted, including 5,000 panhandlers deported from Saudi Arabia since 2023.
