Applications Invited for 2025 Women in Golf Honors
The fourth Women in Golf Awards, a prestigious event celebrating the achievements of women in the golf industry, has officially opened its doors for nominations. With a deadline set for 30 September, golf enthusiasts and industry professionals are encouraged to recognise the outstanding contributions of women in various categories.
The awards, founded by Nicole Wheatley, continue to garner support from sponsors, with two new additions this year: The Loop and Acushnet. Wheatley, who is proud to provide a platform for these women to shine and meet one another, expressed her gratitude towards the continued support and the addition of the new sponsors.
Each category has a dedicated sponsor. The Content Creator category is sponsored by The Loop, while the Brand of the Year category is backed by the BGIA. The Women PGA Professional or Assistant Professional category is supported by TGI Golf Partnership, and the Rising Star category finds its sponsor in Acushnet. The International Woman category is sponsored by Perry Ellis, the Women's Initiative by PING, the Women's Leadership by the GCMA, the Unsung Hero by England Golf, and the Women in Turfcare by BIGGA.
Nominations can be made through the official website, womeningolfawards.com. To qualify, nominees must provide reasons for their nominations and examples of the impact they have made in their respective fields. The independent judges will assess each nomination based on the quality of the responses and the detail given.
Finalists in each category will qualify for a place at the 2026 Education and Insights Day. The three finalists in each category will be invited to attend the awards ceremony at Foxhills Golf Club & Resort on 27 November. A waiting list for a small number of paid tickets will be made available later in the year.
The ballot for tickets to attend the awards is still open on the website. Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate the remarkable women in the golf industry. Nominations are open for any woman working in a paid or voluntary role in the golf industry.
Wheatley's vision for the awards is to create a space where women can come together, share their stories, and inspire one another. With the fourth annual Women in Golf Awards, she is one step closer to achieving this goal.
