Apple TV+ continues to make waves in the world of streaming, with its original content earning numerous accolades and awards. The platform, available in over 100 countries and regions, offers a seven-day free trial and is accessible on over 1 billion screens.

One of the most recent successes for Apple TV+ is the Oscar-winning animated short film, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. Based on the beloved book by Charlie Mackesy, the film has been hailed as a "deep and stunning work of art" and a poignant "tale of love and hope".

The film was produced by Matthew Freud, Cara Speller, J.J. Abrams, and Hannah Minghella, and co-directed by Charley Mackesy and Peter Baynton. Peter Baynton and Charlie Mackesy also collaborated on the adaptation, with Isobel Waller-Bridge composing the original score, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Tom Hollander, Idris Elba, Gabriel Byrne, and Jude Coward Nicoll lend their voices to the characters in The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, which is currently streaming on Apple TV+. The film has been awarded the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film at the 95th Annual Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

In addition to The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, Apple TV+ has produced other critically acclaimed original content. Notable titles include Ted Lasso and CODA. Siân Heder, writer-director of CODA, landed her first-ever Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

CODA made history by becoming the first motion picture starring a predominantly Deaf cast in leading roles to win Best Picture. Troy Kotsur, an actor from CODA, also won the first-ever Best Supporting Actor award for a streamer. Apple made history in 2022, landing three Academy Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for CODA.

New customers who purchase and activate a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, or iPod touch can enjoy three months of Apple TV+ for free. The platform offers a variety of premium content, including drama, comedy, and kids and family entertainment.
