Apple TV 4K users can now access Multiview for MLS Season Pass and Friday Night Baseball, enabling simultaneous viewing of multiple sports streams.
In a groundbreaking move, Apple has launched the Multiview feature on its MLS Season Pass, allowing sports fans to watch up to four simultaneous streams. This new addition to Apple TV 4K services is available for Major League Soccer matches, "Friday Night Baseball" games, and select live shows.
With Multiview, users can choose from multiple layout options on the Apple TV app on Apple TV 4K. This feature is compatible with tvOS 16.5 or later and is now available for MLS Season Pass subscribers.
For those who are already Apple TV+ subscribers, there's good news. You can enjoy MLS Season Pass at a special price. The regular annual subscription for MLS Season Pass is $99, but for the remainder of the 2025 season starting May 18, 2023, it's discounted to $29 (or $25 for Apple TV+ subscribers). The discounted annual subscription applies only through the end of the 2025 season.
If you're not an Apple TV+ subscriber yet, you can sign up for a monthly subscription at $14.99 per month, or $12.99 per month for Apple TV+ subscribers. For a limited time, eligible customers who purchase and activate a new Apple device can enjoy three months of Apple TV+ for free.
Through Family Sharing, up to six family members can share the MLS Season Pass subscription using their own Apple ID and password.
The Multiview feature isn't just about watching multiple games at once. Fans can display one match more prominently or watch two to four matches in a split-screen view on the Apple TV app. Plus, users can control audio preferences, including home radio feed for MLS Season Pass and home and away radio for "Friday Night Baseball" on the Apple TV app.
MLS Season Pass is available in over 100 countries and regions and can be accessed on various devices through the Apple TV app. In addition to MLS matches and "Friday Night Baseball" games, fans can also choose to watch the live MLS and MLB studio shows - MLS 360 and MLB Big Inning - in multiview.
"Friday Night Baseball" is available to all Apple TV+ subscribers on Fridays throughout the regular Major League Baseball season. So, whether you're a soccer or baseball fan, there's something for everyone with the new Multiview feature on MLS Season Pass.
