Apple set to broadcast all Major League Soccer matches globally for a decade, commencing in 2023.
The world of soccer is abuzz with excitement as the Major League Soccer (MLS) fan base continues to grow in anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In a groundbreaking move, MLS has partnered with tech giant Apple to bring every single MLS match to fans' screens through the Apple TV app, starting from 2023.
This partnership marks a historic first for a major professional sports league, and Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Services, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that this partnership will make it easy for fans to fall in love with MLS and root for their favourite club.
The MLS live and on-demand content on the Apple TV app will be available to anyone with internet access across various devices, providing a seamless viewing experience. The content will offer in-depth, behind-the-scenes views of the players and clubs that fans love, enhancing their connection to the sport.
A broad selection of MLS and Leagues Cup matches, including some of the biggest matchups, will be available at no additional cost to Apple TV+ subscribers. The Apple TV app will be the exclusive destination to watch all MLS matches, without any local blackouts or restrictions.
However, it's worth noting that the Apple TV app will not offer live streaming for Leagues Cup and Campeones Cup for viewers in Mexico. Nevertheless, fans can watch on tv.our website.
The new MLS streaming service will also provide fans a new weekly live match whip-around show, game replays, highlights, analysis, and other original programming. For press inquiries, contact Apple Media Helpline at media.help@our website.
