In a night filled with excitement and anticipation, Apple TV+ made a significant impact at the 2025 Emmy Awards. The streaming platform showcased its best shows, including the critically acclaimed The Studio, on a billboard.

The night belonged to Seth Rogen, who won four awards - Outstanding Directing, Writing, Lead Actor, and Outstanding Comedy Series for The Studio. However, the spotlight was also on Sal Saperstein, the unsung hero of Continental Studios, who was thanked numerous times at the Creative Arts Emmys and personally honoured by Viola Davis during the main event.

Despite his numerous accolades, Rogen did not thank Saperstein during his acceptance speeches, sparking curiosity among fans and media. When asked about it at a press conference, Rogen stated that he would have liked to thank Saperstein but had a reason for not doing so.

Ike Barinholtz, who plays the vice president of Continental Studios in The Studio, expressed his disappointment over the lack of a callout for Saperstein. Barinholtz jokingly mentioned that he would have taken the opportunity to thank himself if he had won an award.

The Studio made history by becoming the most awarded comedy ever at the Emmys, with stars like Aaron Sorkin, Zoe Kravitz, Jean Smart, Ramy Youssef, and Quinta Brunson thanking Saperstein for his contributions.

Apple TV+'s success was not limited to The Studio. Shows like Severance and Slow Horses also won awards, further solidifying the platform's position in the TV industry.

In a unique show of appreciation, Apple TV+ put up a billboard thanking Saperstein after the Emmys. This gesture allowed viewers to rewatch The Studio and see Saperstein being thanked by various stars.

As the dust settles on the 2025 Emmy Awards, it's clear that Apple TV+ had a successful run on the TV schedule, winning multiple awards and leaving a lasting impression. The question remains, what will the future hold for Saperstein and the shows on Apple TV+? Only time will tell.

Apple TV+ offers a subscription service for $12.99 a month with a 7-day trial, giving viewers the opportunity to find out for themselves.
