Apple and Major League Soccer announce broadcast partners for MLS Season Pass
The Major League Soccer (MLS) is set to kick off its 28th season in 2023, and fans around the world can now enjoy the action more than ever before, thanks to the MLS Season Pass. This innovative streaming service will be available in over 100 countries and regions, bringing MLS to its biggest worldwide audience yet, in a more simple and streamlined way.
Starting February 1, fans can subscribe to MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app for just $14.99 per month during the season or $99 per season. Apple TV+ subscribers can sign up at a special price of $12.99 per month and $79 per season. The pass will feature every match of the regular season, Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and Leagues Cup all in one place, with consistent match times and no blackouts.
In the Spanish-speaking world, MLS Season Pass will boast a star-studded lineup of analysts. Joining Marcelo Balboa, a former US National Team defender and member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame, will be Jorge Campos, Alexi Lalas, and Diego Valeri. Balboa has been part of Univision's MLS and international soccer coverage since 2014, while Campos and Lalas have also lent their voices to MLS broadcasts in the past. Valeri, the all-time leading scorer in Portland Timbers history, will make his on-air debut as a Spanish-language studio analyst.
Pablo Ramírez, a popular Spanish television announcer, will lead Univision's soccer coverage. Tony Cherchi, who has covered soccer extensively for ESPN, Univision, and Tubi, including multiple World Cups, will serve as Spanish-language studio host and an analyst on select matches throughout the season.
In the French-speaking world, Sébastien Le Toux joins as a French-language analyst after working as a studio analyst for PHL 17's coverage of the Philadelphia Union the last four seasons. Frederic Lord will be one of the lead play-by-play voices on the French broadcasts.
The MLS Season Pass will also feature a wealth of talent from the US Men's National Team. Maurice Edu, a member of the 2010 US World Cup team, has spent the past five years as an analyst with FOX Sports. Sacha Kljestan, a former member of the US Men's National Team, joins as a studio analyst after serving as a digital host and analyst for Fox Sports' coverage of the 2022 World Cup. Taylor Twellman, a former MLS MVP and US National Team player, has spent the past 11 years as ABC and ESPN's lead soccer analyst.
The broadcast team also includes a number of talented women, including Danielle Slaton, a silver medalist at the 2000 Olympic Games, who has been a television game analyst for the last 13 years, including the last eight with the San Jose Earthquakes. Lori Lindsey played 14 professional seasons and was a member of the 2011 US Women's World Cup team before serving as a soccer analyst for ESPN and CBS Sports. Jillian Sakovits joins the team as a pregame studio host after spending the last four years covering Atlanta United as pregame and postgame host for FOX Sports South.
The MLS Season Pass will also feature a number of play-by-play announcers, including Max Bretos, who has previously hosted MLS coverage and done play-by-play for ESPN, and will join as the play-by-play voice for Los Angeles Football Club. Steve Cangialosi, who has handled play-by-play duties for the New York Red Bulls on MSG for 21 years and the New Jersey Devils for 12, will join as a play-by-play announcer. Jake Zivin, the popular TV voice of the Portland Timbers, will join as a play-by-play announcer.

Liam McHugh, who leads Turner Sports' NHL coverage, will serve as cohost of the weekly whip-around show that will cover all the key moments from every match. Bradley Wright-Phillips, a former MLS player with 117 goals, will make his debut as a studio analyst on the whip-around show. Kyndra de St. Aubin has been a television analyst for Minnesota United FC since 2016 and has been part of the FOX Sports family since 2011.
