The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State is rallying for a victorious 2027 election, vowing to reposition the party for success.
APC Steps Up Efforts for Abia Seizure in 2027, Kalu Advocates Unity among Party Members
According to our sources, the party's resolve was revealed during a crucial stakeholders meeting, hosted by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, on a recent Sunday.
The Bendel Federal Constituency lawmaker explained that the gathering was a strategic move aimed at mending fences, strengthening collective resolve, and bolstering the party's unity and progress in Abia State.
Kalu urged all party members to embrace unity, foster internal harmony, and intensify grassroots mobilization as they prepare for the future.
"Together, we reaffirmed our mission to prioritize unity as our greatest strength, expand our influence across Abia and the South East, as well as deepen our commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda," he said.
Kalu commended the State's APC Chairman, Kingsley Ononogbu, for his commendable leadership and unwavering support to the party's growth and stability in the state.
"This engagement will not be a one-off meeting; rather, it will be held regularly. I urge all party faithful to join this great movement to reunite our party. Let us remain united, focused, and courageous in our resolve. Victory begins with vision and teamwork, and the time to build is now."
In terms of the South East's connection to the center, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State insists that joining the APC is the key to linking the region to national power. Other challenges, including competition from parties such as the Labour Party, and maintaining unity within the party, must be addressed to ensure a successful 2027 election for the APC in Abia State.
