APC Faces Imminent Collapse - Statement from PDP's South South Leader
Sharky Waters Ahead for APC, Says PDP South South Chair, Emma Ogidi
Emma Ogidi, the big cheese in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South South, has raised the alarm that the mass exodus into the All Progressives Congress (APC) will lead to its downfall.
Our sources spill the beans that Ogidi compared the APC to a "shark-infested river," likening those who jump ship from PDP to survivalists.
"Look, there's no doubt about it—the APC is a river teeming with sharks. I ain't pulling any punches, mate. Those PDP folks who left, they're scrambling for survival.
"Check 'em out, the successful ones strive to keep their integrity, but once they dive in deeper, they'll get infected, you know? I'm telling ya, they'll come crawling back, and we're ready to welcome 'em with open arms," he said in an interview with Vanguard.
The South South PDP chief expressed concern over Governor Umo Eno's remarks in Akwa Ibom State. Despite acknowledging that PDP had previously held a majority of governors but lost, he pointed out that more APC governors doesn't equate to electoral victory.
"It's a cause for worry, but let's get this straight—PDP once had about 27-29 governors, and we still lost the game. So, more APC governors ain't a guarantee they'll win the next elections.
"The common man knows the score. If they didn't cast their votes or their votes weren't counted, APC wouldn't win. Period.
"The common man is hurting; you can't play politics with hunger. When you're starving, you're starving; when insecurity's high, it's in your face. You just can't spin that," he stated.

- He suggested that even though the APC has more governors, it doesn't ensure electoral victory, as PDP once held a majority but still lost.
- Ogidi emphasized that the common man knows the score, stating that if their votes weren't counted, APC couldn't win the next elections.
