APA Corporation names Robert P. Rayphole as new chief accounting officer

APA Corporation (Nasdaq: APA) has promoted Robert P. Rayphole to vice president, chief accounting officer, and controller. His new role begins on Nov. 15, succeeding Rebecca A. Hoyt who retires after 33 years with the company.

Rayphole, who joined APA in 2002, has held various roles of increasing responsibility. He previously served as assistant controller since 2011. Before APA, he was an audit manager at Arthur Andersen LLP from 2000 to 2002.

Rayphole holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. He will now lead APA's Accounting department, overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.

APA's Chief Financial Officer, Ben Rodgers, expressed confidence in Rayphole's deep expertise in financial reporting, accounting, and internal controls. The company explores for and produces oil and natural gas in several countries and offshore regions.

Robert P. Rayphole's promotion at APA Corporation reflects his extensive experience and expertise. He takes over from Rebecca A. Hoyt, who retires after a long service.
