Golden Appearance at Film Festival - Anya Taylor-Joy dazzles as Marrakech Film Festival’s star-studded jury kicks off
The 22nd Marrakech International Film Festival kicked off on November 28, 2025, with a star-studded jury in attendance. Anya Taylor-Joy, renowned for her striking red-carpet appearances, arrived in a shimmering golden gown. The main event will showcase 14 feature films competing for top honours over nine days.
Taylor-Joy stood out in a strapless pleated dress, its bodice adorned with a subtle floral design. Her platinum-blonde hair was swept into a polished updo, while diamond earrings shaped like bird wings added a touch of glamour. The actress joins seven other jurors, including The Menu director Celine Song and Titane filmmaker Julia Ducournau.
The winners will be revealed at the festival’s final event on December 6. Taylor-Joy and the jury’s decisions will highlight the best of this year’s competing features. The Marrakech festival remains a platform for celebrating diverse storytelling from around the world.
