Veteran Striker Thomas Müller Heads to Vancouver Whitecaps

Thomas Müller, a veteran football player and former FC Bayern Munich star, is set to embark on a new adventure in North America as he joins the Vancouver Whitecaps in Major League Soccer (MLS).

Müller recently completed a move to the Canadian club, signing a contract through the remainder of the 2025 season, with a Designated Player option for 2026. This transfer marks the end of his more than two-decade association with Bayern Munich.

The 33-year-old German forward has been training with FC Bayern in the lead-up to his move, with a spokesperson confirming his presence as a training guest at Säbener Straße. On Tuesday morning, Müller participated in a training session with his teammates, taking charge and giving instructions during the session. The training was broadcasted by Sky.

Despite his training with Bayern, the future participation of Müller with the German club in the coming days remains undecided. The final details of the deal for Müller to join the Vancouver Whitecaps need to be clarified.

Müller's anticipation of a move to North America was confirmed when he announced that he would be "heading across the pond." The veteran striker is expected to bring his wealth of experience and scoring touch to the Vancouver Whitecaps, adding a new dimension to their attack.
