Anticipated surprise appearances: Who will the celebrities invite to their events?
The city of Baden-Baden, Germany, is gearing up for an exciting musical extravaganza as the 30th edition of the Pop Festival approaches. The four-day event, starting on September 18, 2025, promises a plethora of unforgettable moments, with a star-studded lineup and surprise guests.
Kicking off the festival will be Purple Disco Machine at the Benazetsaal of the Kurhaus at 6:30 PM. The renowned DJ and producer, Tino Piontek, is set to bring a host of top acts, including Michael Schulte, Alessi Rose, Zartmann, Bosse, Vella, Abor & Tynna, Fast Boy, Thunder Jackson, Felix Jaehn, Joris, Kraftklub, and Calum Scott. These artists will perform at various venues such as the Kurhaus, Festspielhaus, and Theater throughout the festival.
Thunder Jackson, a new find by the festival organizers, is described as a whirlwind on stage. The son of an Elvis impersonator, Thunder Jackson has been on the festival organizers' radar for some time and is expected to make his debut at 8:30 PM on Saturday in the theater.
Michael Schulte, known for his surprise guests, will bring a special guest to his sold-out concert at 8:30 PM in the Festspielhaus on the first festival evening. Max Giesinger's schedule for the day is currently unclear, leading to speculation that he might be Schulte's surprise guest.
Callum Scott, who will perform a "Homecoming" concert in the theater on the last day of the Popfestival, will also collaborate with the SWR Big Band in the Festspielhaus. This special concert is expected to be a unique moment in the Festspielhaus, the largest German opera house, and guarantees goosebump moments from the start of the festival.
Joris, who has many good memories of Baden-Baden, including being awarded a Bambi in the Festspielhaus in 2019, has also announced surprises for Callum Scott's performance.
The festival organizers believe in Thunder Jackson's talent and express enthusiasm for Purple Disco Machine after his first visit three years ago. Baden-Baden's Deputy Mayor, Alexander Wieland, considers the Popfestival an enrichment for the city, while Mayor Roland Kaiser highlights the festival's high advertising effect for Baden-Baden.
With its impressive lineup, surprise guests, and a promise of special festival moments, the 30th Pop Festival in Baden-Baden is shaping up to be an event not to be missed.
