Anticipated summer weather: Relief from intense heat waves

The German Weather Service (DWD) has announced that after a prolonged heatwave, temperatures in Germany will begin to cool down starting from Friday. This follows a period of extremely high temperatures, with highs reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius.

From Monday to Wednesday, the country will continue to experience sunny weather. On these days, temperatures will range from 23 to 28°C across the nation. The warmest areas will be around the Upper Rhine, with local temperatures reaching up to 29°C. Along the North Sea, temperatures will be slightly cooler.

On Monday, temperatures in the northern regions will be around 27 to 29 degrees Celsius, while the southern areas may still see highs in the low to mid-30s Celsius. By Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will follow a similar pattern as Monday.

The heatwave, which began around August 12, is expected to end by Saturday, marking the return of widespread cooler conditions and sunshine. Friday's weather will continue with sunshine, and temperatures will still range from 23 to 28°C. Thursday's weather will follow a similar pattern as previous days.

The DWD predicts a calm summer weather for Germany throughout this period, with the cooler temperatures providing a much-needed relief from the recent heatwave. It's a great time to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts, before the temperatures drop even further into the following week.

Other areas of Germany will shift towards cooler weather-forecasting starting from Friday, marking the end of the aggressive heatwave. However, the following days, Monday to Wednesday, will continue to exhibit a warm and sunny weather pattern, albeit with lower temperatures compared to the heatwave's peak.
