Anticipated Summer Movie Premieres

"Onegin-Blues" - an astonishing example of how easily and contemporarily classics can sound. The delicate and airy canvas of the production immerses the audience in the familiar yet lesser-known atmosphere of the classic tale.

Alexei Guskov conceived his theatrical adaptation of "Eugene Onegin" many years ago, but the idea became reality only with the help of producer Leonid Roberman. The production was entrusted to theater director of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater Michael Tsitrynak, and the main musical role went to one of the best contemporary saxophonists, Veronica Kozhuharova, as no one can feel the bluesy mood of "Onegin" better.

"Onegin-Blues" - a synthesis of musical and dramatic arts. Ironical, subtle, classical, and modern.

For the reading generation of Peredelkino - a legend, literary dachas, where there was a gathering of witty jokes, calembours, creativity! It was in Peredelkino that Bilbilik - the little boy, whom the writer Kornej Chukovskov invented for his granddaughters Tatiana and Masha, was born. The audience of the play will find themselves among the dacha houses, friends with the heroes of Chukovsky's fairy tales - Fedora, Ai-Bolit, Barbus - and disaster in the magical worlds of Chukovsky. In the confrontation with evil in the form of the turkey Brinduleq, they must complete an important mission - save Bilbilik and his sister Tsintsichillu!

In this play, there will be a lot of literary humor, which Chukovskov highly valued, and there will be an opportunity to play and use the imagination.

Director of the play Alexander Zakharyev: "Chukovskov possessed a unique sense of humor, it is the humor of absurdity, language games, anagrams ... therefore, the literary foundation, and the play itself became very lively, and not boring, and fantastical. But there is also a moral: be small, but if you are brave, you will conquer any, the greatest evil."

The designer of the play - Victor Antonov, the main designer of the GASSRTK im. SV Obratzovo. He came up with the puppets, masks, and large puppets for the play, and in the park's rotundas there will be portals to the imaginary worlds - those from which Bilbilik and Tsintsichillu came to us in reality. The game at the suburban dacha - it's a bit stylish retro, so the action takes place under the accompaniment of a wind band: cheerful marches, waltzes, foxtrots will help the audience immerse themselves in the era of the Soviet intelligentsia's dacha.

When: 8th of July

Where: Obratzovo Park

In early summer, the "Practice" Theater will release the premiere of Yuri Kvyatkovsky with the youngest residents of Borshtchagovka. Artists have spent over a year exploring the universe of Moscow flea markets and studying the characteristics of their regular customers, trying to solve the riddle of this phenomenon, this picturesque fragment of the cityscape. The confessions and conversations "flea market dwellers," scenes of the market's life - a real encyclopedia of ordinary life unfolding "on the sidelines" of mainstream success. Contemporary inhabitants of "flea markets" are reminiscent of characters by Maxim Gorky or Fyodor Dostoevsky. And their biographies, texts, representations of good and happiness reproduce the complicated, contradictory image of today's reality.

"Flea market" - this is not just conversations and colorful characters, here the musical score is important, which non-obviously connects songs from the repertoire of Russian and foreign stars. The interplay of different styles and genres, epochs, and aesthetics - a sound portrait of flea markets, whose colorful nature is woven from opposites and extremes. The play originated from an observation exam at the acting faculty of the Shchukin School. Thus, the students of Marianna Brusnikina and Sergei Shekрин's masterclass continue the tradition of direct, documentary immersion into "here and now," and "Carnival" will be in the same series as earlier productions "This is me too" and "Transsib" - in the repertoire of "Practice".

The play "Carnival" is designed as a collage or patchwork quilt, in which each character adds their individual energy and intonation. Participants in the play are people who are just beginning their journey in theater, and this perspective on contemporary reality. Some of the characters found their musical alter-ego, connected to the character or a specific situation. In this way, documentary materials are supplemented by fantasy, and on this intersection, the team tries to capture our impressions of today's world.
