Anticipated road congestions caused by protests
On the 12th of January, 2024, three routes for protests will pass through the district of Fürth. The first route, known as Route 6, will commence from Cadolzburg North and conclude at Fürther Freiheit, following a path that includes St 2239, B 14, B 14, Ansbacher Straße, Schweinauer Hauptstraße, Nopitschstraße, Mittlerer Ring, Ulmenstraße, Frankenstraße, Bayernstraße, and Volksfestplatz.
Another route, Route 7, will begin from Langenzenn's gathering point on Würzburger Str./Alte B8, heading southwards. Its journey will take it through Langenzenn, An der Bleiche, Sanktustorstraße, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, Nürnberger Straße, Raindorfer Weg, FÜ 17 towards Raindorf, Seckendorfer Straße, left before Unterführung B 8 towards Seukendorf, Alte B 8 towards Fürth, Burgfarrnbach, Würzburger Straße, Billinganlage, Kapellenstraße, Ludwigbrücke, Erlanger Straße, Poppenreuther Straße, Hans-Vogel-Straße, Hans-Böckler-Straße, Brettergartenstraße, Schnieglinger Straße, Nordwestring, Maximilianstraße, Von-der TannStraße, Gustav-Adolf-Straße, Nopitschstraße, Ulmenstraße, Frankenstraße, Bayernstraße, and ending on the Volksfestplatz.
Both routes 6 and 7 are scheduled to start around 07.00, with the protests ending on the Volksfestplatz around 13.30. An additional two routes, Route 6 from Heilsbronn and Route 7 from Langenzenn, are set to take place on this day.
The protests on the 8th and 12th of January, 2024, will involve the Bavarian Farmers' Association, farmers, logistics companies, and other sectors. The route for the protests on the 8th of January, in the district of Fürth, will start from Roundabout Dauchenbeck / Stein and conclude at Fürther Freiheit.
On the 12th of January, Route 3 will travel along Flurbereinigungsweg Hinter der Bahn, Breiter Steig, Veitsbronner Straße, Hintere Straße, Farrnbacher Bridge, Hafenstraße, Würzburger Straße, Kapellenstraße, Henri-Dunant-Straße, Königstraße, Friedrichstraße, and Fürther Freiheit. Route 2 will travel along St. 2409 Flurbereinigungsweg, Nürnberger Straße, Wachendorfer Straße, Cadolzburger Straße, Fürther Straße, Wachendorfer Weg, Heilstättenstraße, Breslauer Straße, Würzburger Straße, Kapellenstraße, Henri-Dunant-Straße, Königstraße, Friedrichstraße, and Fürther Freiheit.
The gathering points for the protests on the 8th and 12th of January, 2024, have not been specified. No convoy driving has been registered for the return journey of routes 6 and 7, but disruptions are to be expected.
Organizations involved in the protests in Fürth and Nuremberg between the 4th and 12th of January, 2024, besides the Bavarian Farmers' Association, include the Nürnberger Bündnis Nazistopp and the "Team Menschenrechte" (an extreme right-wing group) in Nuremberg, as well as Frankenpride e.V., which organized CSD-related events in Fürth within the PRIDEWEEKS of Nürnberg.
Route 6 from Heilsbronn's gathering point is located on the former B 14 directly east of the city of Heilsbronn (north of B 14). The route passes through the village of Müncherlbach.
On the 8th of January, 2024, one of the routes for the protests will pass through the district of Fürth, starting from Roundabout Dauchenbeck / Stein and ending at Fürther Freiheit. Route 1 for the protests on the 8th and 12th of January, 2024, will travel along Hauptstraße, Bahnhofstraße, Gebersdorfer Straße, Schwabacher Straße, An der Post, Bahnhofplatz, Gebhardtstraße, Gabelsberger Straße, Kirchenstraße, Nürnberger Straße, Königstraße, Friedrichstraße, and Fürther Freiheit.
