Trigano Group's Prospects for Caravan Sales in 2020s: An Informal Overview
Anticipated Modest Increase in Recreational Vehicle Sales According to Trigano in 2023
Let's chat about the current state of caravan sales for the Trigano Group. This Paris-based multinational conglomerate, known for its leisure vehicles, has recently spoken out regarding its expectations for this year.
Originally, a report by Reuters claimed that the company saw no recovery imminent in 2022. However, Trigano has stepped in to clarify matters, stating that their motorhome business has enjoyed significant growth across France, Germany, Italy, and Spain this year.
But don't get too excited just yet – while the motorhome market is booming, caravans are another story. The caravan sector is experiencing weak demand, with no immediate recovery forecasted. Caravans only bring in 5% of Trigano's total revenue, but it's a solid 5% that includes some big names, like Adria, the 2025 Owner Satisfaction Awards Best New Caravan Manufacturer.
Adria's tourers, such as the Adria Alpina Colorado and the Alpina Rio Grande, were also shortlisted for awards this year. Trigano's other brands in this category include Caravelair, La Mancelle, and several motorhome brands like Chausson, Auto-Trail, Auto-Sleepers, Roller Team, Benimar, Mobilvetta, McLouis, Rimor, and Eura Mobil.
Although the caravan market might be struggling, Trigano's diverse brand portfolio and focus on innovation offer promising growth prospects, especially given the growing interest in outdoor leisure activities during the pandemic era.
