Fancy a Run at the Tollensesee?

Get ready to lace up those runners, folks! This Saturday, Neubrandenburg's Kulturpark is hosting the 33rd Tollensesee Run, and it's shaping up to be a blast. Around 2,000 participants from Neubrandenburg and its partner cities in France and Denmark are gearing up for this exciting event.

The main race is a marathon around the lake, kicking off at 9 am sharp. But if a full marathon isn't your thing, worry not! There are eight different competitions to choose from, catering to every running enthusiast. From a family-friendly 2km run, to a Nordic walking route, a relay marathon, and even a unique 'King of the Hill' and 'Queen of the Hill' competition at the Behmshöhe climb (new for the 10km run).

For the junior runners, some innovative children's races were held on Friday, with events over 400 and 800 meters.

But remember, runners, the road through Neubrandenburg Kulturpark will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm due to the event, so plan your day accordingly.
