Annual sports competition hosted by the Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys' Association in Kuwait for the year 2025

The Annual Sports Meet 2025, organised by the AMU Old Boys' Association (AMUOBA) Kuwait, took place on September 4 and 5 at the Sports Academy, Abu Halifa (Elazz Playing Yard) and Ismash Academy.

Day one of the sports meet kicked off with football matches and races, while day two included events for badminton, carrom, and chess. The festive spirit was further amplified by the active participation of alumni and their families.

The event was meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of President Mr. Aslam Parvez. He also took the opportunity to present certificates of appreciation to sponsor representatives, including Al Mulla Exchange, Al-Bandoukia Gen. Trad. & Cont. Co., KDD, and KITCO.

The members of the Executive Committee for the Annual Sports Meet 2025 are not publicly available. However, Mr. Adil Sareer served as the main coordinator, with support from EC members Ms. Shazia Mansoor, Mr. M. Khurshid Anwar, Mr. Shahid Ali, Mr. Tauqir Ahmad, Mr. Shahnawaz Siddiqui, Mr. Masood Alam, Mr. Asim Khan, Mr. Yousuf Abdullah (OSD), Ms. Talat Fatma (Dy. OSD), and Mr. Maqsood Habib Khan, along with VP Mr. Tariq Waseem overseeing logistics.

Food stalls offered refreshments including juices, water, chips, ice cream, tea, lassi, snacks, and dinner provided by Khan Star Restaurant. Medals, certificates, and trophies were awarded to winners and runners-up on the spot. A special rolling trophy was presented to the champion and runner-up football teams.

Seniors cheered from the sidelines, adding to the festive spirit of the event. AMUOBA expressed gratitude to the Advisory Committee, volunteers, referees, and photographers for their valuable contributions. President Aslam Parvez thanked all members for their active participation in the Annual Sports Meet 2025.
