Annual Sporting EventHosted by the Kuwait-based Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Alumni Association in 2025
The Annual Sports Meet 2025, organised by the AMU Old Boys' Association (AMUOBA) Kuwait, took place on the 4th and 5th of September. The event was meticulously planned and executed by President Mr. Aslam Parvez, with Mr. Adil Sareer serving as the main coordinator.
The first day of the meet was held at the Sports Academy, Abu Halifa (Elazz Playing Yard), and featured football matches and races. The second day was held at Ismash Academy, and included badminton, carrom, and chess events.
The Annual Sports Meet 2025 was generously supported by several sponsors, including Al Mulla Exchange, Al-Bandoukia Gen. Trad. & Cont. Co., KDD, KITCO, and Khan Star Restaurant, which provided the dinner. Food stalls offered refreshments such as juices, water, chips, ice cream, tea, lassi, snacks, and a dinner.
Seniors cheered from the sidelines during the meet, adding to the festive spirit. A special rolling trophy was presented to the champion and runner-up football teams. Medals, certificates, and trophies were awarded to winners and runners-up in all events.
Volunteers, referees, and photographers contributed to the success of the Annual Sports Meet 2025. Mr. Aslam Parvez expressed gratitude to the Advisory Committee, volunteers, referees, and photographers for their contributions.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to sponsor representatives by AMUOBA President, Mr. Aslam Parvez, during the meet. The companies involved in the sponsorship of the AMUOBA Annual Sports Festival 2025 were Adidas, Nike, and Puma.
Alumni and their families actively participated in the Annual Sports Meet 2025. The meet was a great opportunity for old friends to reunite and create new memories. Mr. Aslam Parvez thanked all members for their active participation in the Annual Sports Meet 2025.
